If you’re new to Pepipost, create a free account and follow this guide to get started.

The Pepipost API is built on REST principles. Authenticated users can interact with any of our URIs by using the specified HTTP request method. We recommend and also enforces our users to use SSL encryption by issuing requests through HTTPS. Our global endpoint for all APIs:

https://api.pepipost.com

Pepipost do provide region specific endpoints to help it’s customer meeting the local legal and compliance.

Prerequisites

While we have PHP, Python, NodeJS, Java, C#, Perl and Ruby libraries for our APIs, but it is always good to test the API before going into integration with your application. For testing, we recommend using CURL.

Curl comes standard on Mac operating systems. On other OS, you might have to install the same.

Before you can start using the API, you need to do the following:

  1. Create a Pepipost account.
  2. Configure your Sender Domain.

You will be unable to make a test unless the domain is verified and active under your Pepipost account.

  1. Get the API Key by navigating through Settings --> Integration
  2. Make sure you have CURL installed on your machine to run a quick test.
  3. You are now ready to send your first test email.
